We're (finally) Homeowners

We closed on December 4, 2009. This was the 3rd scheduled closing so you can say that we were fit to be tied. Everything seems to be going well with the house. It's warm, has plenty of warm water, and plenty of space. We still need to get blinds on the windows, but we're waiting till we have the money to get them from Lowe's. Come to find out that old windows in a old home require expensive blinds. We will have to have them cut to fit. Ben and Fatcat love the backyard. I sometimes can't even get Fatcat to come back in. I joined the gym yesterday and I think I may go tonight. So it's all starting to feel real. Like we're actually residents of Athens, Alabama.
